Experience Westfield's rich history with a Founder's Day celebration & festival!
Join us on Saturday, May 7th from 11am-3pm for our Lantern Days event as we "shed a light on the past and illuminate the future." Check out all of the fun featured attractions below. In addition, participants can enjoy a self-guided walking tour through downtown Westfield and experience our rich history. A downloadable guide will be available here on our website to give you the history of many landmarks, buildings and homes.

Due to the ongoing threat of inclement weather Friday afternoon and into the evening, with the potential to be severe at times, the decision has been made to postpone the Lantern Days Concert with The Fun Factor Band. Saturday's Lantern Days event will still proceed as scheduled.
The new concert date is Friday, August 19th at 6:30 p.m.

Lantern Story Stations
Learn about the significance and history of several of Westfield's landmarks & buildings.
Illumination Station
Create a personalized time capsule (with a free polaroid) and illuminate your future predictions.
Historical Reenactments
Actors from Basile Westfield Playhouse will bring the stories of Westfield's founders to life.
Craft Stations
Practice writing with ink and quill pens and create your own paper kite to fly in the Great Lawn.
Games
Fun for all ages! Participate in Potato Sack Races & Egg and Spoon races in the Great Lawn.
Merchants
Vendors will be selling handmade pottery, jewelry, home decor, fashion accessories and more!
Petting Zoo
Get a close up look at the farm animals that would have been present in Westfield's early days.
Food Vendors
A selection of delicious food will be available for purchase from food trucks and tents.
